Graig Griffin, SIOR - Detailed Resume

A 1982 graduate of Chaparral High School in Las Vegas, Graig attended the University of Texas at Austin on full academic scholarship, majoring in physics, and was first exposed to real estate working part-time in the office of a prominent urban office developer.  Intrigued by the industry, he returned to Las Vegas in 1988, and secured his Nevada real estate license. His first position was with Century 21, with a focus on land.  He became the office trainer for commercial and land and received numerous sales awards including finalist for the 1989 national listing competition. 

In 2002, he met his future wife and moved to St. George, Utah, affiliating with Colliers International.  In 2004, he and partner Steve Kemp opened Kemp Griffin Commercial and in 2006, they became Coldwell Banker Commercial KGA   Adapting to the changing market, Graig and Dale Morrison, CCIM created Artisan Real Estate Advisors in January of 2009 to expand into residential, distressed, and REO properties, offering services nationwide through their extensive network of top agents and allied professionals.

Graig has experience in most areas of real estate including; residential, retail, office, and industrial sales and leasing; development; investment sales; gaming properties; and independent fee-based consulting. He won the 1996 Chairman's Award, NAI's highest honor for brokerage excellence chosen by his peers, and was named in Las Vegas Business Press 1995 annual “Top 40 under 40” business leaders for the category of commercial real estate.  Graig wrote and taught Clark County School District's first full-year real estate course, with elements on urban planning, property analysis, and development.  He is active in many industry groups, holds the SIOR designation and is a candidate for the CCIM and ALC designations.  Mr. Griffin works often as a consultant for other developers on project design and brokerage, and advises several other brokerage firms on technology and marketing.  He teaches both technical and sales classes and publishes regularly.

As an agent, broker, manager, developer, and principal, Graig Griffin has been responsible for the completion of transactions valued in excess of $1.8 Billion, across all  product types.  He is licensed in Nevada and Utah.
